Jeep JK snow plow build
« on: December 17, 2016, 01:33:48 AM »
Started with 2 $5 55 gallon plastic drums, add some steel. Already had a winch with in cab control, plus a stinger for picking up the plow. Add a pieces of steel, some bushings, spring, winch strap, etc.

Despite the -11 temp, I went out and made the blade mount pieces. The piece to the right has a slight bend to allow room for a washer.

And even with 2 cars in the garage, I still have enough room to cut a 8' piece :)

^ I was wondering about that, but hopefully it will give me time to finish it and get it powder coated. Framework done.
Some welds for Johnny :)

And all the pieces

We both did plows this year. And no snow to use them on yet. Figures!

Looking good!
