Personalized plates are in, should be able to pick them up tomorrow morning before work.

Also, I got a nice sized gift card to Amazon for Christmas so I decided to order a CB setup.

Uniden pro520xl
Evo antenna mount
3' Firestik

Going to use this mount setup since I already have the pieces in the garage.

Got my new plates on yesterday, going to black out some of the Dordt college stuff so they are just black and white.

I also got me evo antenna mount and Firestik on.  Not impressed with the laser cutting on the evo logo, looks like a two year old did it.  I also think I'm going to have to mount it on the lower driver side because I hit my garage door right now.

I don't ever run my antenna (garage door and parking ramp) I unscrew the antenna but leave the base nut and cable attached to the mount. Antenna fits under rear seat

Do you worry about corrosion with nothing attached to the stud

If the stud corrodes, just spend a couple bucks at your local truck stop for a new one.

Mine kept hitting the garage door too. I tried a few options but ended up with a short spring and a quick disconnect anntenna. Not I can push down and twist when I remember or the spring allows it to bend back when I forget it is on

When I forget to take my antenna off, I just ask Kevin to reach out the window and bend the antenna so it doesn't hit every concrete double tee leg as I go through the parking ramp, even though I know he enjoys the sounds it makes, kind of like riding a skateboard on a sidewalk or clipping the playing card to the front fork on a bicycle. #dontjuststandtherekevin

I think I'll just leave it off unless I'm wheeling.  Do you think they can tune it for me at the loves truck stop?

I don't know, but I've got an SWR meter you can borrow and tune it yourself.

Going to need to do a talk n tune soon.  Got some parts to install

Rubicon shocks
Evo c gussets
Crawler Concepts body mount tire carrier
Aev spacer lift from Kevin Longman, if I can find cheaper longer shocks or some shock extenders to get me by

Not going to need my poison spyder tramp stamp anymore, anyone need it?
