JOCCI Store - For Sale / FOR SALE: Tom Woods 1310 JKU Front Driveshaft (07-11)
« Last post by VitaMeVas on January 13, 2019, 07:31:31 PM »
FOR SALE:  Parting out my 2010 Jeep Wrangler JKU.  I have a Tom Woods 1310 Series double cardan front driveshaft that has about 30K miles on it.  Website link:  http://www.4xshaft.com (look under JK).  Works flawlessly and all hardware included (see pics). Purchased in 2015 (see receipt).  After talking with Tom Woods support, I know it will fit a 2007 to 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4 door) Sport or Sahara (not Rubicon).  The stock measurement of my JKU from transfer case to differential was 36 1/2 inches (see pic).  I paid $500 and willing to sell for $250 cash OBO.  Low ball offers will not be responded to.  I live in NW Iowa (51250) and will not ship thanks to all the scammers out there.  If you want a tough a$$ front driveshaft and have worn out/torn yours, this is for you.  Contact me for any questions.
I also have a K&N air filter, Schrockworks rock sliders, JW Speaker 8700 Evolution J LED headlights-Series 1, Teraflex hinge reinforcement with tire carrier, Superchips tuner, winch plate for stock front bumper, stock soft top with all pieces, Hothead Headliner, and RockHard 4x4 steel skid plates, Riddler front/rear diff covers and probably some other things for sale also.  Thanks for looking.

General Discussion / Re: Thinking about installing a lift
« Last post by VitaMeVas on January 13, 2019, 09:19:18 AM »
For what it's worth, I've been running a Teraflex 2.5" coil lift on my 2010 JKU for about 7 years.  It's worked well for me, but IT IS VERY STIFF.  Crawling in Moab, you feel every hit.  But i've never had any part fail.  I run 35" Nitro's or Toyo's and Bilstein shocks with it.  Also run the Teraflex front lower CA.  JKS front trackbar.  If I had it to do over again, I might think about EVO.  But to each his own.  I have come to learn that Teraflex does a lot of non-USA parts (if that's important to you).  Pro's and con's to all systems.  I also would stay away from dual rate coils unless your Jeep is light.  Otherwise, with a winch, gear, etc... the softer side of the coil stays compressed most of the time and you're always riding on the stiffer part anyways (just less of it).  Good luck.

Very pretty girl!!  I'm getting closer on getting mine.  I went with the Granite Metallic, but really like your Sting Gray.  When did you order it?  How long was the wait?  I've heard the Sting Gray paint caused some people to wait longer.

Hello from a new member in NW Iowa (51250).  Current rig is 2010 JKU and have 2019 JL on order.  Go to Moab about once a year, but where can you crawl in Iowa??  Thanks
